Jay Alton,
Owner & Audio Producer
For more than 20 years, Jay Alton of Alton Audio has provided premium audio services to clients nationwide, from a home base in Columbus, Ohio. Jay brings a deep knowledge of audio engineering, both technical and artistic, with a highly trained ear. Creativity and character are at the heart of what he makes, and he is a skilled and thoughtful collaborator, whether on a film set, or in the studio. Jay prioritizes preparation and staying at the forefront of new technology and techniques, keeping him at the head of the pack in the audio industry.
Jay has a BM in Music Technology from Capital University in Columbus, OH, where he built his chops on a wide variety of audio and video productions, as well as honing his musical skills through jazz guitar and composition study. He lives in Columbus with his wife and three boys.
